If pain is there only after chewing food or persist continue then two scenarios can be possible.. In case of dental caries sensitivity to hot and cold along with pain exist,if chewing exaggerate pain then chances of periodontitis or apical abcess Is more..bad breath can be due to residual food impaction between tooth and gums or can be due to calculus formation.. For bad breath get oral prophylaxis done and for pain a clinical diagnosis is advised firstly..

bad smell may be related to a condition called periodontitis which can also cause loosening of tooth. but pain in tooth can also be due to dental caries. u need to specify whether pain is only during chewing food or continuous and if it gets aggravated on taking sweet or hot or very cold liquids.to get rid of bad smell u have to brush after every meal and you can also use mouthwash once a day. if the problem persists, you need to get a dental check up done.
