Have chest pain since Apr 8. Then it got extended to back, arm, shoulder joints, underarms, under breast bone. I consulted two physicians, then spoke to an orthopaedist. He got me tested for Vitamin D and B12, levels were 3.49 ng/mL and 119.8 pg/ml and I was prescribed supplements for 6 weeks. Pain subsided in last weeks, but, for past 5 days I again have pain in chest, back, and underarms area. It happens more specifically when there’s a weather change.
I got myself tested for vitamin D and B12 again after completing 6 months supplements course, deficiency is recovered at following levels 78.62 ng/mL and 263.9 pg/ml. Orthopaedist said my B12 is still not at optimal level, it should be somewhere around 700 pg/ml at my age i.e. 35 year old female. He also asked me to continue with multi vitamin a week for 6 weeks and D3 supplement a month for as long as I can.
He also said that the above symptoms are of rheumatoid arthritis. And, that I should start taking medications for this. I am still curious if chest, back, arm pits and breast bone pain could be from arthritis or because of B12 levels?
I have difficulty taking deep breathes sometimes or I am able to do it through a yawn. When this happens, I notice slight tingly pain in the throat, but, it’s not sore.
For a couple of weeks I have a thumping sound in left ear only when I sit or stand. Please note, my right ear drum was damaged many years back but never had any issues with left ear.
Pain in face, TMJ joints. Again, mainly left side.
I have trouble initiating swallowing since Oct 2018. This doesn’t happen daily but happens like once a week.
Are all these connected? What exactly should I focus on first? Should I go back to Ortho, or ENT, or gyne or a heart specialist? Another physician that I consulted for all of the above said all my problems are deficiency related and should be OK in sometime.
Also, BP is 123 over 90 on an avg.
