Fluctuations in spo2 level

My grandmother having age 75. When i check her spo2 level it shows 92 then goes upto 95 then again 92 then again 92.it repeats continuosly.
But when she sit her spo2 fluctuate between 96-98.
Whats the reason behind this.but very little dry cough when lay down
No other medical history.
