Hi Doctor
I had recently donated blood and the medical assistant had difficulty in finding the nerve so she had asked me to clench my fist while the needle was pierced in. I immediately felt a sharp pain and stopped. Since then I have been experiencing a numb sensation in my arm and also an occasional nerve sting when I stretch my arm. This has persisted for about 5 days now and I don't see it getting better. Given the current situation with covid-19 I don't feel very compelled to visit a hospital. Is this bad? Does it need immediate medical attention? Is there something I can do at home? Kindly help me out. Thanks.
