Pulsating pain in the Sciatic nerve of left leg

Fell asleep with the AC remote under me and when I woke up today my left buttock hurts. I can feel a pulsating pain in my nerve in the left leg and pain in the back of my thigh. Can somebody explain to me what this condition is and how to cure it? Thanks in advance.
