Thyroid disorders accompanied with severe ear pain

I am having thyroid swelling on left side as well as ear pain for more than 1 month. Have taken TSH, T3 and T4 tests, as well as thyroid antibodies test, all are normal. But 8mm lump was found in ultrasound scan on left side, am taking propanolol tablets but swelling is not reducing, ear pain still remains, can it cause hearing loss?
